This piece was done in thought of one of his friends who he dove there a couple times of the view looking back toward the coast of Big Sur.
$ 50.00Generally seen by most washed up at the high tide mark where it get's passed over by beach combers as just 'seaweed', red and brown algae are some of the most beautiful things growing in the ocean. Very common in the intertidal and subtidal zones from Northern Baja to Alaska, this bouquet of algae is what one may find in the waters off Año Nuevo Island, Central California.

Cabs, as they are also know, love the shallow subtidal waters amongst the eel grass, boulders and understory kelp. They often eat small abalone and crustaceans.
